Vision

We at South Asian Restaurant strive to be a unique restaurant in Sacramento area by offering Halal Chinese and Indian/Pakistani cuisine.  At South Asian Restaurant we determine to provide a great meal perfectly cooked, properly seasoned, garnished with flavorful vegetables and starches that provide tasteful textures and a balance of colorful contrast with fragrance and taste.

Color means that a fine South Asian Meal must be as visually stimulating as it is tasteful.  Fragrance is the aroma of saffron and authentic Indian herbs and spices.  Our dishes are to be savored, enjoyed- they are bursting with the unique flavor.  Our mantra is to always use the finest ingredients and low cholesterol granola oil for all our cooking.  We have passion for food and we hope you feel it when you dine with us.


Our core underlying philosophy is based on these three things

  • Quality: When we say quality, we mean to utilize the finest ingredients to prepare our dishes to perfection, our commitment to bringing diners the freshest and most seasonal produce available.  We formed an alliance with local Asian farmers and purveyors to bring us the region’s best produce and grains.  We also rely heavily on our finest seafood vendor from San Francisco to bring us quality shrimps, crab and fish.
  • Service:   When we say service, we mean our staff goes beyond and above the extra mile to make sure that food arrives on time, tables are clean, silverware and glasses are available on table for our guests.  We do whatever it takes to make our guests feel welcome, treat with smiles so their experience is memorable.
  • Hospitality: When we say hospitality, we mean our staff makes sure that all the needs of our guests have been met beyond there expectations.
